Wet blanket time. 10 Meters isn’t coming out of a “long sleep.” June 2009 and we are still at the bottom of the sunspot cycle. This is typical early summer sporadic E. Enjoy it for the next couple of weeks. We’ll probably see some F-Layer skip in 2012 or so. Meanwhile, Darrell, good luck with the series. I hope this is a good sign of that the bands are getting better and not just a Sporadic-E deal like every summer. I frequent 10 meter alot, 20 meter and just about anywhere I can make contact except 160 due to my radio does not have 160.
