@mcbain57 the thunder trucks are a lot better and worth the money, if I would have known about them when i made this video they would have been on the list.

i really dont understand why they would even make helicopters that dont go forward and backwards its not even a helicopter without the forwards and backwards

with a 2 channel heli you can only control up down and spin, they move forward on their own. They aren’t very stable or precise, plus they aren’t good at teaching you how to fly.

With a 4 channel heli you control up down, left right, forward backwards, and spin. they’re easier to control they’re more precise, they’re much more fun to fly. it’s the best way to learn how to fly rc helis
if you’re truly interested in helis I suggest you starts with a 4 channel coaxial like an esky lama v3 or v4.

whats the difference between a 2 channel copter and a 4 channel copter?

yttocs5991 March 13, 2010 at 7:16 am

thats hella cool!

taoistflyer March 13, 2010 at 7:49 am

Not a bad Idea, i should have dun that, I’ll try to keep it in mind for the next video.

Thanks for watching.

I also picked up a ucontrol silver bullet, i didn’t like it very much, it likes to do an extra spin every time it turns so it’s hard to control, the forward facing lights also have a tendency to blind you when it’s flying at you. i need to do a review of it.
I personally like the syma s026 chinook, I fly it more then i fly my blade mcx s300 and it was a lot cheaper.
i also like the 2 channel micro copter at 2:19 it seams to be made by some one called rooftop brands.

Nice review. I want to see you land that 4-channel on the tripod next time!

motocrossmaniac9 March 13, 2010 at 9:01 am

where did you get that rc helicopter at

irvinghighweb March 13, 2010 at 9:22 am

@toist : Great reviews! I got a uControl silver bullet rc heli for xmas, but now I want to find a better one like the ones you showed. FYI, the terrain titans are on sale at Amazon right now; two models are $7.99 and two others are $9.99. At that price they’re an even better deal, and you can race 4 at once.

@50sk8erdude: You want RadioShack’s “Zip Zap SE”, which was discontinued 1-2yrs ago. It has working LED headlights, proportional steering and throttle (3-4 steps each direction), and interchangeable parts – motors, gears, tires, and body shells. The bodies are mostly based on real cars. Check eBay and you might find some still. There are also regular Zip Zaps (now re-released as Xmod micros) but they don’t have headlights or propo controls.

I like the micro terrain titans because they are so cheap and they work so well, but they don’t have working headlights, and they aren’t scale cars. I’m really not much into cars and don’t know what to tell you but their have been a bunch of cool micro rc cars released in the past few months the rcuniverse and rcgroups forums are probably the best places to go to look for good rc cars. For 40 to 60 bucks you can get some pretty pimp stuff.

50sk8erdude March 13, 2010 at 11:33 am

I have a question- I want 2 buy a good micro rc car, but one with a little more design to it. The one u showed looked cool, but I would prefer one with working headlights, based of a real car, and be affordable (hopefully around 20 bucks?). Do u have any recomondations? Btw, nice review, keep up the good work

i don’t know much about stores in the UK.
But in the USA they sell them at every wall mart, toys r us, and target. Basically any major outlet store that sells toys should carry them or know someone who does.
They are worth every penny, they truly are all terrain vehicles, they have 2 speeds, they charge in only 50 seconds, and drive for 5 minutes, they even have Mario cart versions now.
They are really a great gift most stores sell them for about 15 dollars.
